Psalm 23 Reveled While Reading Mark 6

Psalm 23

1 The Lord is my shepherd, I lack nothing.

[Mark 6:34 (They were like sheep without a shepherd, He had compassion for them, He taught them)]

2 He makes me lie down in green pastures,

[Mark 6:39 (He had them sit in the green grass)]

he leads me beside quiet waters,

[Mark 6:32-33 (They followed Him to where His boat landed)]

3 he refreshes my soul.

He guides me along the right paths

for his name’s sake.

4 Even though I walk

through the darkest valley,

I will fear no evil,

for you are with me;

your rod and your staff,

[Mark 6:35-38 (Gently disciplining His disciples)]

they comfort me.

5 You prepare a table before me

[Mark 6:41-42 (He fed them all)]

in the presence of my enemies.

You anoint my head with oil;

my cup overflows.

[Mark 6:43 (Tons of leftovers)]

6 Surely your goodness and love will follow me

all the days of my life,

and I will dwell in the house of the Lord

forever.
