Eternity is not what happens after you die. Eternity does not start after the “Rapture.” Eternity is a person. Eternity always has been and always will be. When we accept Jesus Christ and His atoning sacrifice for us, we have Eternity living in us. “Eternal life” is not the same as immortality (living forever), it’s much bigger than that: it’s living in Eternity, in Him. The Bible says that all things (yes, even people) were in Him (in Eternity) before they (we) were created. We (humans) simply have to make the choice to return (turn around, repent, go back to Him – all the same thing); It’s really not as difficult as we often make it sound!
